I will be going for the weekend retreat away from home today. It will be a time of reflection, relaxation and more importantly a special time to be alone with God.
Life is busy and having bipolar illness makes it even more hectic. We need to make time for ourselves. Our minds have the tendency to go in high gear (in both ways – manic or depression). That is why, we need to slow down and sort out things. Prioritize, plan and start refreshed again.
Remember, that this illness has blessed us to be aware of ourselves, life, and what is more important in general. Therefore, take the time and do something fun or just enjoy the quite time of being with God alone.
Be blessed.

Hello…I hope I’m not being extremely intrusive, but I saw your blog on the Bring Change 2 Mind website.
Would you be willing to just tell me what bipolar is like from your point of view? We are thinking my brother may have this.
I listed my story under MissingMyBrother (username) if you’d like to go and read it.
Thanks so much!
